At Sera Prognostics, our mission is to help improve pregnancy outcomes through groundbreaking science and innovative technology. As a Senior Product Manager at Sera Prognostics, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the digital experiences that connect patients and providers to our innovative prenatal care solutions. You’ll own a portfolio of products, including provider portals, test ordering experiences, patient engagement platforms, and other key digital touchpoints across the patient and provider journey. Working closely with design, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll help shape intuitive, impactful experiences aligned with our mission to improve maternal and neonatal health.
You will have the opportunity to influence how patients and providers interact with the PreTRM® Test, the first commercially available blood test proven to identify a pregnancy’s risk of preterm birth early enough for intervention. You’ll partner with Customer Support and Commercial Operations to improve the internal tools their teams rely on daily, bringing a strong focus to usability, workflow optimization, and interface design. Your work will directly impact the experience of patients, providers, and internal teams by removing friction, simplifying complex processes, and creating digital solutions that inspire confidence and make care easier to navigate.

Responsibilities
- Act as a thought partner to the Director of Digital Products on the strategy and roadmap for external-facing digital products and internal support tools, while owning the delivery of that strategy end to end.
- Own the product experience and quality of patient- and provider-facing digital products, accountable for whether they meet user needs and deliver an intuitive, accessible experience.
- Own the roadmap for internal digital tools used by Customer Support and Commercial Operations, with particular attention to UX/UI quality, workflow efficiency, and ease of adoption.
- Develop a deep understanding of patient, provider, and internal user needs through direct research, usage data, support feedback, and satisfaction metrics, and translate those insights into prioritized product improvements.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to define user flows, wireframes, and interface designs, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience across all patient, provider, and internal-facing products.
- Gather requests and requirements from the teams that depend on these products: patients, providers, customer support, commercial operations, marketing, and clinical stakeholders.
- Prioritize the work in a structured, data-driven way, balancing user impact, business value, effort, and risk to decide what gets built and when, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Define the functional requirements and acceptance criteria for each story and work with designers and engineers to translate requirements into a clear approach the team can build against.
- Work with QA Engineers to plan and review the software verification and validation processes.
- Document product decisions, user flows, and design rationale to reduce tribal knowledge and support compliance and auditability.
- Ensure products and changes meet applicable regulatory, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, partnering with QA/Regulatory as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to deliver and maintain patient- and provider-facing digital experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of product management experience, including significant time managing consumer-facing or provider-facing digital products.
- Demonstrated track record of shipping and improving digital products with a strong emphasis on UX/UI quality and usability, not only technical functionality.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects forward, quickly ramping up on unfamiliar problems and user groups.
- Strong user-centered product thinking, comfortable leading in depth interviews and customer research, and analyzing end-to-end patient, provider, or internal user journeys and redesigning them to reduce friction and confusion.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems and translate them into clear frameworks and prioritized plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey product and design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including designers, engineers, executives, and clinical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with patient portals, provider portals, or other healthcare consumer-facing digital products.
- Experience with custom build React/Node.js applications
- Experience with products and experiences built within Salesforce (Experience Cloud, Apex, Flows, Canvas, etc.)
- Proficiency with SQL or comfort working directly with data to inform product decisions.
- Experience working in healthcare, diagnostics, or other regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, CLIA).
- Experience owning or improving internal tools for customer support or commercial operations teams.
